Of course, i helps that Batman is a <A HREF="http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BadassNormal" REL="nofollow">Badass Normal</A>, I suppose - Superman just wouldn't fit into this style of film, no matter <I>what</I> you did.<BR/><BR/>Also, I suspect the difference in opinion stems from the fact that I think most superhero comics are ridiculous tripe, and you don't (including, by the way, the plot of <I>The Dark Knight Returns</I> - the writing and characterisation and the like was excellent, but the actual plot was, well, a superhero comic plot :) ).Andrew Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11239339734859467432noreply@blogger.com
